Bluesin' the Jazz ret homenatge a les dames del blues clàssic dels anys vint i trenta del segle passat, als músics de jazz que les acompanyaven i també a les orquestres de l'època del swing que van prendre el blues com a eix vertebrador dels seus repertoris. Captivats per aquestes composicions i per aquesta vitalitat artística, la cantant Big Mama 'Montse' i l'OJO s'associen sota la batuta del trompetista David Pastor per reviure les grans vocalistes que feien art a partir de fets quotidians, expressant els seus sentiments i vivències en la fusió entre jazz i blues.
